Snitch and Quaffle seem to be getting along famously. They've taken over the house, actually. Quaffle was always quite timid, but with a new puppy around he seems to have found his inner puppy. I never quite know what I'm going to find them up to when I come home from practice.
It feel like ages since I've gone out and had any semblance of a social life. While it would be easy to remain a hermit for the rest of my life, I think it would also be slightly unhealthy. Does anyone want to go out and do something? It makes me feel far too old to sit around the house all day after work. | | Wednesday, March 11th, 2009 | | 1:25 am |
This is the third time I've wound up being checked out by a healer at Mungo's after practice this month. It's beginning to get ridiculous. Surely there is something that can be done to just fix my shoulder once and for all? Something that preferably doesn't require me not playing Quidditch.
I did, however, find a puppy yesterday. Poor thing was wandering about along the roadside when I was on my morning run, soaking wet and far too skinny. Even if someone claimed him, I'm not sure I'd give him back after he'd obviously been left to wander for so long without any attention. No collar, no tags. Just a little dog of indeterminate breed.
He doesn't have a name yet. He gets along pretty well with Quaffle, my other dog, so far. She seems to like him. Perhaps I should just continue that naming trend and go with Snitch. The little bugger is rather hard to catch when he gets to running. | | Saturday, February 21st, 2009 | | 1:38 pm |
I wish Spring would hurry up and get here already. It's bloody freezing outside. It actually seems like a very good day to curl up on the couch with the fire going and take a nice long nap. Not to mention my shoulder is killing me, so doing nothing sounds about brilliant
It feels like it's been forever since I've talked to anyone outside the team. So, hello! |
